McDougall-Littell covers

Unfortunately I do not have a copy of the covers I produced
and revised for McDougall-Littell. This cover is a monochrome
version of another designer's work that I enhanced at the
client's request. I cleaned up some of the poor photographs,
color corrected others, and added depth to several of the
photos.
Scott Foresman-Addison Wesley's "Math"

I was asked to design elements of this cover series and to
create a production method for a third-party production house
to follow in creating many dozens of covers. I worked with
Janet Hill to create the title type treatment, generate the
page curl layer, and to create many subtle textures from line
art shapes. Once I'd streamlined the production process, I
walked Tamada-Brown's excellent staff through it. Janet's
confidence in me was a major factor in pulling this off!
Covers for a "Theatre" textbook

A major textbook company had asked me to submit designs for
a theatre textbook project that never got off the ground.
These are a few samples. The photographic elements were supplied
by the client. I enjoyed creating the "grand arena"
composition in the frontmost cover. And I like the under lighting
and shadow on the "red curtain" cover.
